AI and data systems for work that can't fail
Kinetic builds applied-AI platforms and the data engineering underneath them. We work in healthcare, global health, and enterprise, where the data is messy and the stakes are real. Ten years of it, across four continents. Now we're building in the US.
If it survives here, it'll survive your enterprise.
We built the Central Data Repository for Africa CDC. It pulls disease surveillance from 55 nations into one governed source, over patchy networks and health standards that rarely agree, where a wrong number can cost lives. Your data problem is almost certainly a smaller version of that. We've already solved the big one.
Applied AI, on a foundation that holds.
Most teams can demo AI. Getting it to run, and keep running, is the hard part. That's the part we do.
Applied & Agentic AI
We put agents, RAG, and evals into production, not slide decks. The medication-therapy advisors and retrieval systems we've shipped get used every day.
AI Platforms
A platform is more than a model. It's the data feeding it, the retrieval, the guardrails, the screen your team works in. We build the whole thing.

Data Platforms
Warehouses and repositories your analysts actually trust, with lineage tracked end to end. We've built them for one team and for a whole continent.
ETL / ELT Pipelines
Pipelines that don't page you at 2am. They take schema drift and flaky sources in stride.
BI & Visualization
Dashboards your stakeholders open. Then keep open.
Systems Integration
Your sector already runs on something: DHIS2, FHIR, HL7, some legacy API nobody documented. We connect to it.
Shipped. Where it counts.
These programs run at national and multinational scale, for continental health agencies, UN bodies, and regulated US healthcare.
One repository for a continent's health data. It brings disease surveillance from 55 member states into a single governed source, built on DHIS2 and ELT.
Case management built to HIPAA from the first commit. PHI stays locked down by default, and the support load dropped.
A data warehouse and ELT pipeline behind UNHCR's partner and statistical reporting, topped with the BI and visualization layer their analysts work in.
5× analyst output on a shared AI platform.
Music and video streaming: catalog, delivery, analytics.
Agentic AI advisors for medication-therapy management.
Four phases. Predictable delivery.

Discovery
Stakeholder interviews, a data-estate audit, and a written scope. Success metrics and risks get named before a single line of code.
The audit is the easy part.
Every platform we ship assumes someone will inspect it: a regulator, a security review, a board. We design the controls, access rules, and audit trails in from the start, so you can show your work when someone asks.
Data residency & sovereignty
Your data stays in the region and tenancy you require.
End-to-end audit trails
Every access and change logged, traceable, and exportable.
Least-privilege access
Role-based access, scoped credentials, no standing admin.
Encryption everywhere
At rest and in transit, with managed keys.
Data lineage & provenance
Know where every number came from, column by column.
Monitoring & alerting
Anomalies and unusual access flagged in real time.
Opinions we're willing to defend.
Ten years of building data systems teaches you what the decks leave out. These are the ones we bring to every project, unless you talk us out of them.
Quality is enforced at ingestion.
Validation, normalization, and anomaly checks belong at the edge, not buried in a dashboard formula three layers downstream.
Data stays with its owner.
Federation beats centralization when trust is on the line. Sharing should be intentional and permissioned, not a side effect of where you stored something.
Schemas evolve, pipelines shouldn't break.
Real data models change every quarter. The systems we ship expect it, with version-controlled schemas and backward-compatible contracts.
Own the stack end to end.
From intake to interface, one team. No handoffs, no finger-pointing, no one to blame but us.
“Kinetic is a top-tier development partner. They acted as genuine strategic partners, proposing improvements that were instrumental in delivering the project on time and within budget.”
Senior team. Enterprise scale.
Kinetic is a team of more than 40 engineers, analysts, and delivery leads, partnered with ETM Software. We've shipped 200-plus projects since 2016 and run enterprise programs end to end: data platforms, applied AI, and the governance and security that regulated organizations require. Senior people lead the work and stay on it.
Mikiyas leads Kinetic and its engineering. For a decade he's taken data and AI platforms from first commit to production for governments, multilaterals, and large enterprises across four continents. He sets the architecture and the standards the team builds to, and he's as comfortable in the boardroom as in the codebase.
Sosena runs delivery and operations from Dallas. She came up as an engineer, so the bar she holds teams to is a technical one, and she's built the governance and process that let Kinetic deliver for regulated, audit-heavy organizations.
Let's scope your hardest data problem.
